What Is Bamboo Yarn?

Bamboo yarn is made with bamboo grass that is harvested and distilled into cellulose that’s then spun into yarn. With it’s natural ability to maintain temperature and moisture; Bamboo controls bacteria while feeling heavenly underfoot. It is three times more absorbent than cotton, it helps to keep your feet drier, and along with it’s natural antibacterial properties, can keep feet healthier.

Bamboo is also less irritating to sensitive skins, warmer in winter, and yet cool in summer. Here below, in multiple styles, Bamboo socks are waiting for you to put them on!

What is Viscose? What makes it so special?

Viscose is a fibre made from Bamboo cellulose. So when it pertains to Bamboo plants, it comes from the cellulose of the plant, making it a cellulosic fibre, like cotton or linen. There is a difference between synthetic and manufactured fibres, which makes a difference in their sustainability.  The cellulose solution of Bamboo is used to spin the viscose fibre.

Viscose fibre is a soft fibre commonly used in dresses, linings, shirts, shorts, coats, jackets, and other outerwear.  Viscose is a fabric that is great to keep a professional style yet durable and warm for colder months. Viscose Socks are soft and stretchy and a great alternative to cotton for those who have irritation problems in their feet.
